Charleston is an amazing city with so many unique characteristics and fun qualities, but one thing it doesn’t have much of is fall. There’s not really a ‘changing of the seasons’, one thing I loved from growing up and from my years in Clemson. This past weekend, Jenna and I escaped to the mountains of North Carolina…right outside of Brevard…and had a wonderful time simply hanging out together. We left Eli with his grandparents, pushed work aside, and enjoyed being in the hills. The “cabin” – which turned out to be more of an awesome mountain house – was literally on top of a mountain and provided us with an amazing view to experience the changing leaves and quiet surroundings! It was an incredible weekend and a much needed break!
