Engagement pictures are so key. They give us and the soon-to-be newlyweds an opportunity to hang out and get to know each other, as well as get comfortable shooting together. Typically, we’re meeting the groom for the first time and like most guys, being behind the camera isn’t super “natural”. This is why engagement shoots are key. Because by the end of the shoot, we’re all laughing and having a good time, which helps everyone relax at the wedding and the whole day go smooth. Plus, they’re a great way to forget about the planning for a bit and simply play.
Here are a few pictures from Mike and Betsy’s recent engagement shoot. They were a lot of fun and we’re super excited for their wedding in June!
*Side Note* The last picture … yeah, the one with the clown nose … is a perfect example of what I was talking about above. It was at the end of the shoot and we happened to spot a clown nose in the middle of the street. So of course, we had to take a picture with it! Ha!
