Sean + Ally [engaged]

This was such a fun night! Sean and Ally have natural chemistry and it was a blast to photograph. They really came into their own in front of the camera and we’re really excited for these images. But even more so, we’re excited for them as a couple and all they have ahead of them!

Congrats on your engagement, Sean and Ally! You two are awesome!

It was a beautiful night in Columbia…a great night for some shots! And hanging out with Matt and Jessica down by the river and playing with an old Ford pickup was a blast! We’re excited for their wedding in November!

Matt + Christie [engaged]

I met Matt several years ago through my brother. Since then we’ve become good friends and have had many cool adventures together…climbing mountains and camping, adventure races, and so on. And it makes me smile to post these pictures of him and his bride-to be. They’re a great couple and we’re more than excited for them!

Andy & Gail [engaged]

When Andy contacted me a couple months ago I got really excited — not only was I excited to hear he was engaged, but from knowing Andy in high school, I knew his shoot would be a ton of fun. And it just so happens that Andy has a girl who is just as awesome and as much fun as he is! We spent a gorgeous morning in Piedmont Park, amongst the ‘boot camp’ folks working out and families enjoying the day. After the park, we spent a few minutes outside of the Fox Theater, where Andy proposed. These two are so much fun! Gail and Andy, we couldn’t be more excited for you!

Lauren + Matt [engaged]

This sweet couple is tying the knot in just a couple of short months! They chose a location for their shoot that is sentimental to them rather than the norm, which we love! Matt and Lauren both live nearby this spot, and they hang out there often. We met up on the Chattahoochee River behind the Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee House. If you’ve never heard of this company, you should check them out. After all, you can’t go wrong making a purchase at a joint where their motto is “Drink Coffee. Do Good.” Two ‘principles’ Matt and I firmly believe in! Anyway, I love that years down the road, when looking back at their engagement pictures, they’ll be reminded of many good memories!

Brie & Cory [engagement pictures]

Brie and I go back many many years and our families have been good friends since we were in elementary school. Our families eventually moved apart and ‘life’ took over. That is…until a couple months ago when I heard she was moving to Charleston and is now getting married (to an awesome guy) in Charleston! So over the past few months the four of us have all had a blast hanging out and getting to know one another, and Jenna and I both are pumped for their wedding. Brie and Cory aren’t just fun to be around, but they immediately make you feel like family and just enjoy being alive!

We had a great time with their engagement shoot over the weekend! As you can see, I loved too many…

Shooting on rainy, cold days isn’t always “ideal”. It’s cold, the dampness doesn’t allow for hair to cooperate, or so I’m told, and typically, no one wants to dress “appropriately” for the weather, because after all, who wants pictures in their parka?! So, as our shoot with Jennifer and Drew approached, I wasn’t thrilled with the weather report. But, they were awesome, braved the cold, and we had a good time shooting!

I like these two. They are both great people and when around them, you can feel that they’re into each other. We had so much fun shooting and hanging out, and we are super excited for their wedding in May! Not just to be shooting it, but we’re excited for them as well. Their journey to each other has been long and difficult at times, but it’s obvious that God has his hand on their relationship and will continue to bless them into their journey of marriage. This is just the beginning of an awesome adventure!
