Rhyne Family [Charleston Family Portraits]

Back in January, Leah asked if I’d take some shots of her and Zoe (her daughter) as an anniversary surprise for her husband, and then do a few more of all of them after their anniversary.  I loved it!  I could see the excitement in Leah’s face and the fun she was having trying to plan and schedule this while keeping the surprise from Charles.  It was fun to be a part of!

Charles and Leah … you have a wonderful family and a cute little girl!  Thanks for letting me spend some time with you guys!

Sweet Baby William

Oh my goodness, what a sweet little bundle!  Matt and I went to Clemson with William’s mommy.  We love when our “business” path crosses with old friends from back in the day.  We feel so privileged that they would search us out to capture such a special time in their lives.  William makes us excited for that yummy new born smell to be around our house again!  We just hope our Sweet Pea is as cool, calm, and collected as this little man!  Congratulations, McMeans family!  He’s a keeper!

Georgia Elise [newborn portraits]

There’s something so special about the anticipation and excitement of having a child – especially when it’s your first!  And through the past couple of months it was a huge joy to share that excitement with this family as they expected their little girl.  Georgia Elise was born February 16th and is a beautiful, sweet little girl.

Adam + Heather [Charleston Engagement]

Adam and Heather have a fun story and I’m so excited for the life ahead of them!

After eying each other from a far, Adam and Heather met in class at MUSC.  And what started as classmates, has turned into something so much more.  Because this past Thanksgiving, they got engaged!  And the excitement in their eyes and the smiles that couldn’t be withheld, were contagious and great to capture!  I had so much fun hanging out with them!

We met up in their old classroom where they met and it was fun because you could see all the old feelings and memories coming back to them as we hung out in there.  I’m so glad we did this because not only will some of these make them laugh in years to come, but this classroom is where it all began and I’m glad they’ll have the photos to bring them back there and relive those early days!

Adam and Heather, I’m so excited for you two and the journey ahead of you!

BrittleBank Park

For the past month or so, we’ve devoted Friday afternoon/evenings to family time and have had a blast exploring new places and checking out new restaurants (mainly hole-in-the-wall Mexican joints)!  Last night we went to BrittleBank Park on the water downtown and had a great time watching the sun set and goofing off on a beautiful night. :)
