Adam + Heather [Charleston Engagement]

Adam and Heather have a fun story and I’m so excited for the life ahead of them!

After eying each other from a far, Adam and Heather met in class at MUSC. And what started as classmates, has turned into something so much more. Because this past Thanksgiving, they got engaged! And the excitement in their eyes and the smiles that couldn’t be withheld, were contagious and great to capture! I had so much fun hanging out with them!

We met up in their old classroom where they met and it was fun because you could see all the old feelings and memories coming back to them as we hung out in there. I’m so glad we did this because not only will some of these make them laugh in years to come, but this classroom is where it all began and I’m glad they’ll have the photos to bring them back there and relive those early days!

Adam and Heather, I’m so excited for you two and the journey ahead of you!

Alphonso & QuinnShauna [anniversary portraits]

Alphonso and QuinnShauna have been married for 5 years and came to town to celebrate. But in meeting them, you’d think their wedding was tomorrow! They both couldn’t help but smile and laugh through the whole shoot and possessed a certain excitement that was fun to see and be around! They were a blast to work with and I hope I have a chance to laugh with them again in another 5 years!

Michael and Elizabeth are married! [wedding]

Michael and Elizabeth were married a few weeks ago in Greenville at Christ Church and threw an awesome party afterwards at the Poinsett Club. The whole day was filled with emotion and you could feel the excitement Michael and Elizabeth had for getting married to one another. And even more, the history of the church and the richness of color at the reception truly made it an awesome day!

Jessica and Matt [engaged]

It was a beautiful night in Columbia…a great night for some shots! And hanging out with Matt and Jessica down by the river and playing with an old Ford pickup was a blast! We’re excited for their wedding in November!

Gary & Ashley are married! [wedding]

Matt and I have been looking forward to Gary and Ashley’s wedding at the Portofino Resort in Gulf Breeze, Florida for quite some time! Not only is this couple crazy photogenic, but they’re crazy about each other too! I think we were all a little disappointed with the layer upon layer of fog that settled over the entire Pensacola area for the weekend, but everyone made the best of it. The fog actually made for some pretty dreamy images, which we were thrilled with! Gary and Ashley, we hope you love them too! We LOVED being part of your day!

Cory & Brie are married! [wedding]

There is so much to say about this sweet couple, their fabulous families, and their AMAZING wedding day! Cory and Brie have been such a joy to work with from day one, and I knew we were in for a treat the first time I heard Brie describe the look and feel they were striving for on their wedding day. And we were! Yellows and grays. Effortlessly chic style. Handmade touches throughout the day. The gorgeous Legare Waring House (One of our new fave venues—more on this to come!) lit by strands of exposed bulbs. Ahhhh…

We definitely want to acknowledge Kate of Gourmet Bay Catering for her fabulous coordination of the entire reception. She is seriously talented and was just a breeze to work with!

I know you want me to hush and get on with the images, so without further ado, meet Cory and Brie.

A night under the oaks…

We spent an incredible evening with Brie and Cory at their wedding Friday night! Everyone had a ton of fun and you couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful location. More fun stuff to come!

Greg & Liz… Rain? No problem!

It didn’t just rain on Saturday, it rained! And then rained some more! But from the laughter, the huge smiles, and the overall feeling of love and excitement, you’d think rain was the norm over sunshine. It was awesome! The rain seemed to give the day a ‘magical’ feeling, and it was a beautiful thing to watch, experience, and capture.
